Following a fire, the Elephant Hills Hotel is closed until further notice, and we are using their sister Hotel, The Kingdom Hotel in the centre of Victoria Falls
Situated on a small hill overlooking the Zambezi River, just 3 km upstream from the Victoria Falls. The Elephant Hills Intercontinental Hotel is a large resort hotel with 276 rooms and 13 suites.
This international class hotel is ideal for families with young children. Many rooms have connecting doors, and the huge range of facilities that this hotel boasts will keep youngsters (and the young at heart) occupied for hours.
Rooms
are spacious and well equipped, with remote control
television, movie and satellite channels (CNN, M-Net,
SABC, Movie Magic), Radio channels, direct-dial
telephones, 2 lines (Bathroom telephone), dual voltage
power points, bathrobes, minibar, in-room safe, tea and
coffee making facilities.
Restaurant
options include the Samukele and Kasibi restaurants for
informal dining, with buffet and a la carte menu. The
swimming pool area has a casual pool side grill serving
traditional barbecue (braai).On the 4th level is the
cocktail bar. Other snack areas include the Mapopoma Bar
and Terrace, and the Halfway House golf course snack.
Facilities in the hotel include a business centre for those who need to keep in touch, a beauty salon/barber, laundry and valet service, 24-hour room service. Sport facilities include a Leisure and Sport Health club with 2 outdoor swimming pools, sauna, sportswear shop, 2 squash courts, bowling green, 2 floodlit all-weather tennis courts, volleyball court 18 hole golf course designed by Gary Player.
A regular shuttle service operates between the hotel and Victoria Falls and all the 'adrenalin' activities in the area: white water rafting, canoeing and the world's highest commercial bungi jump. Less strenuous activities include the 'Flight of the Angels' over Victoria Falls, traditional dancing, Sunset Cruise, or game drives.
